Favorite Kid Friendly Restaurants

Perkin’s, Hazlet

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Perkin’s in Hazlet never disappoints. We ate here as kids, and we love bringing our kids back for character themed days featuring Paw Patrol, Daniel Tiger, and Vampirina, to name a few!

Overeasy Kitchen

(Marlboro and Holmdel)

Did someone say Nutella Pancakes? Our family loves brunching at Overeasy.  Some of our favorites include the Italian “Pork Roll” & Cheese Panini, the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and the ‘Watermelon Kiss’ cold pressed juice.

Barnacle Bill’s, Rumson

In our opinion, Barnacle Bill’s has one of the best burgers you can get in NJ. But if that isn’t reason enough to bring the fam, they even have a small video game room in the back to entertain the kids before the food comes. Stay for dessert too, it’s delicious!

Rosalita’s Roadside Cantina, Englishtown

Our family always has a great time at Rosalita’s. Located right on Route 9 in Englishtown, we come on Wednesdays when kids eat free from 5:30-8. Often times they have a face painter or character for the kids, which gives us time to enjoy our fajitas and margaritas!

Tre Pizza, Pasta & Beer Garden, Freehold

One of our favorite spots to pop in during the week for pizza or a bowl of pasta. On Tuesdays starting at 5 pm, Tre offers a FREE Make Your Own Pizza night for the kids, which has been very popular with our clan. They even have a mozzarella bar on the menu!

Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse

(Holmdel and Oakhurst)

Some of the best hibachi and sushi we have had in the area. And you can leave the iPads at home, these chefs put on a VERY entertaining Hibachi show for the little ones.

Huddy’s Inn, Colts Neck

Great wings, burgers, and sandwiches, we’ve never had a bad meal here! They offer a cozy atmosphere year-round, and have outdoor seating in the warmer months. Huddy’s extensive kids menu is only $5.99, and it includes a drink.

Juanito’s Restaurant, Red Bank

Love Juanito’s for their authentic Mexican food, festive ambience, and they’re BYO!  For those that don’t love spicy, they have chicken and pasta for the little ones too.

Langosta Lounge

Right on the Asbury Park boardwalk, Langosta Lounge is one of our favorite places to eat with the kids. In addition to the basics for your picky eaters (like mine), their kids menu offers guac & chips, edamame, and even mini veggie egg rolls.  And look for their upcoming $5 kids menu special running every Sunday in November through February!
