Join us on Sunday, June 28th @11am for a special storytime with local author, Samira Morency, who will be sharing her book, Ayiti, My Hometown.

Samira is a Haitian-American wife and mother of two. Inspired by her own childhood in Haiti, she wrote ‘Ayiti, My Home’ to bridge the gap between generations. Through vivid recollections and bilingual storytelling in English and Kreyòl, she invites readers to rediscover Haiti’s beauty and connect with their roots. After 16 years away, she dreams of bringing her daughters back to Haiti so they too can experience the warmth, language, and soul of their ancestral home.
