At K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the NICU supports the most delicate babies with advanced, specialized care — including treatment for infants born as early as 22 weeks.
Families facing high-risk pregnancies can also access the Healthy Beginnings Program, offering prenatal consultations with nurse navigators to help parents feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.
From developmental follow-up programs to a full team of specialists — including therapists, dietitians, and child life services — the level of care and compassion here is truly incredible.
We also had the opportunity to connect with a NICU mom and nurse manager whose story is a powerful reminder of the strength of these families and the impact of this care.
