Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health Medical Group is thrilled to welcome Vincent Borja, M.D., a new pediatrician in Metuchen, NJ.
He (along with his practice partner Alyssa Rios, M.D.) offer a wide range of services, including well-child visits, sick visits, sports physicals, and management of various pediatric conditions. Dr. Borja believes in building strong relationships with families and partnering with them to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

- What do patients say about you?
Parents often tell me that I made their child feel at ease and very comfortable during the encounter. I take my time to address any questions or concerns. Parents appreciate the empathy, thoroughness and good communication.
- What is the #1 tip you always share with patient families?
As a primary care doctor, I always emphasize the need to lead a healthy lifestyle. As an individual who regularly exercises, I think it’s always important to eat a diet full of fruits and vegetables and to do exercise regularly. Exercise doesn’t have to be a chore. I always try to make exercise fun.
- How do you spend time with your friends and family for fun?
I like to spend time with my friends and family trying new foods and traveling. When I have free time, I like to watch movies/sports or go shopping.
- What do you enjoy most about New Jersey?
I was born and raised in New Jersey and did most of my education in Bergen County. I have a lot of family and friends in the area and have grown to love New Jersey. I enjoy the outdoors, the food and the family and friends I have close by.
