Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

I grew up in Lima, OH but did my pediatric residency in New Orleans, LA. I met my husband while living there, and he is from Fairhaven. We moved back to the area in Spring 2020 and currently live in Little Silver, NJ.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

2 kids, my son is 5.5 and my daughter is 2.5

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

I have completed 4 marathons, I was only 5-6 months post-partum for 2 of them (The Chicago marathon and the NYC marathon).

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

I have a solid group of friends who help tremendously. Unfortunately, they do not live close by, but they are always there for emotional support, advice and perspective when I need it.

Favorite things to do with your kids?

We like to read and take walks. I like to bake, so sometimes it is fun to get them in the kitchen with me. They are always happy to try my new creations.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

I opened my own concierge style pediatric practice in March 2024 in order to offer an alternative to the traditional practices in order to offer patients and their parents more direct communication with me and more personalized, flexible care. I am also a member of the EFLS at my son’s school and it has been nice being able to be a part of the school community and getting to know other parents. Starting in Jan 2025, I will be joining as a committee member on our town’s board of health.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

This community has inspired me to think differently about how I care for families. When I opened my practice, I wanted to address the frustrations I heard from parents—limited time with their pediatrician, inflexible scheduling, and difficulty accessing care. While I may not have grown up here, the needs and voices of local families have been instrumental in shaping the model of care I offer. It’s been rewarding to build
relationships with families and see how this new approach helps them feel more supported and empowered.

What is your favorite restaurant in Monmouth County?

This one is hard to answer because of course it depends on what I’m craving! I’m a coffee girl, so I have to give a shout out to my favorite local coffee shop, Coffee Corral. They always do a great job and the staff is so friendly. For a nice dinner out with my husband, Pascal and Sabine is Asbury Park has been a favorite. For lunch, Brennans are always delicious.

What is your favorite activity to do with your child(ren) in Monmouth County?

Either hiking/playing at one of the local parks or going to Monmouth Museum

What are your Mom Goals?

My mom goals are to raise children who are healthy, happy, and secure—both physically and emotionally. I want them to grow up knowing their parents are always in their corner, supporting them through life’s ups and downs. Ultimately, I hope to nurture their confidence and independence while making sure they feel deeply loved and understood every step of the way.
