Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was born and raised in East Brunswick NJ. My husband and I moved to Holmdel in summer of 2018 with our daughter who was 2 at the time.
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
I have an 8 year old daughter in 2nd grade and a 4 year old son who will be starting kindergarten in the fall.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I am a big foodie. If I could switch careers I would love to be a food blogger.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I would not have been able to build my business and work full time if it were not for my mother-in-law, Mona Aydin. Having a grandparent be so involved and helpful really gave me the peace of mind that my children were being well taken care of.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
I enjoy taking my kids on vacations. On the weekends we like going into the city to explore. And of course we love trying out new restaurants.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
My husband and I are both dentists and business partners. We are lucky enough to sponsor many local events and teams especially for Holmdel education. We are looking forward to our newest project of expanding our office in Hazlet.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I LOVE working in Hazlet! I took over an existing practice that has been a part of the community for almost 30 years. Needless to say I had big shoes to fill. Thankfully our surrounding community has really welcomed us as the new owners and made it so fun for us.
What is your favorite restaurant in Monmouth County?
Anjelica’s in Sea Bright and Butcher’s Block
What is your favorite activity to do with your children in Monmouth County?
Love going to the beach. I enjoy going to the local farms during the different seasons. We are also so lucky to have Bell Works so near by for those cold or rainy days.
What are your Mom Goals?
My goal is to raise happy well rounded kids who are content and appreciative of what they have. I want to be there for all their big milestones and accomplishments, and most importantly build amazing memories with them.
