Hackensack Meridian K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital is proud to feature Suhas Ganguli, M.D., DCH, board-certified pediatric rheumatologist. He is an expert at diagnosing and managing a wide range of autoimmune, auto-inflammatory conditions including juvenile arthritis, systemic onset juvenile arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, dermatomyositis, periodic fever syndromes and COVID-19 related multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain syndrome, such as fibromyalgia. April Celebrates Autism Acceptance Month!
Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health has launched EmpowerU, a free program designed to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as well as their parents/caregivers. Through simple SMS text messages and interactive content, EmpowerU delivers the guidance you need, when you need it most.
EmpowerU is a free program providing personalized health information and
connections to valuable resources. This program is tailored to the unique needs of
caregivers of children with ASD aged 1-21 and children with ASD aged 12-17.

Healthy Beginnings for High Risk Pregnancies
A new concierge program for moms-to-be
Now launched at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the only program of its kind in Monmouth County. This new concierge program is dedicated to enhancing the pregnancy journey for parents that may encounter a congenital anomaly, abnormality, or may be a high-risk pregnancy.
This program exists to support a family’s pregnancy journey, with full access and a direct line to a licensed RN and educator to assist with:
- Educational diagnosis explanations and discussions
- Priority appointment support and preparation
- Emotional counseling and referrals
- Hospital tours and introductions
In a time that could be filled with stress, Healthy Beginnings creates a direct line of communication and assurance to families.
