Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

I was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti. I moved to the United States at the age of seven years old where I bebopped around New York and New Jersey. I met my husband and we moved to Union, New Jersey. We bought our first house in Middlesex County and later moved to Randolph in 2020 where we reside now with our beautiful little and my mother-in-law.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

Our son Liam is three years old and our daughter Peyton just turned two in October!

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

When I moved to the United States, I did not know how to speak English. I learned to speak English in the English as a Second Language program throughout Summer school through my knowledge of Spanish. English is my third language although it may not seem that way as I do not have an accent.

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

My mother and mother-in-law have been an amazing support for us throughout our parenting journey. They have gone above and beyond with caring for our littles while both my husband and I have worked Full-Time. It really does take a village and I’m so grateful for ours!

Favorite things to do with your kids?

We love being out in nature! From exploring farms to walks around our town, we are always collecting treasures in our buckets. We love finding new bugs. We also love catching and releasing frogs we may find.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

A business venture! I am the owner of Grounded Together®. Grounded Together® is based on the idea of re-shaping the parent and child dynamic with particular attention on the parent energy level and its contribution to children’s behavior.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

I have had the privilege to work with parents in town to assist in the parental shift in building their connection with their child. It takes vulnerability and strength to reach out for support particularly regarding parenting. I’m honored to have worked with parents who have shown such commitment.

What are your Mom Goals?

I hope to raise kind humans! My goal is to assist my children in developing emotional regulation to be confident and well-regulated adults.
