The Peach Pit, located in Rumson, NJ, is a play space for babies and toddlers in the morning, and a cafe/lounge available to kids and teens in the afternoons. A truly unique concept founded by local mom, Tara D’Uva, students can come together to be social, receive enrichment, have fun, and feel welcomed! From their baby and toddler programs to their “career sparking” courses geared towards high school students, the goal at The Peach Pit is to meet today’s students right where they are and provide what they need most at each stage of development. Whether it’s independent social time in their after-school cafe, one on one tutoring, or an enrichment class, The Peach Pit is equipped to support the essential stages of growth.

Order a cappuccino, relax and let your little ones Join in the fun for open play after class too! Additionally, Pre-K Scholars is an extended day enrichment program offered daily throughout the school year.
Meeting the modern needs of today’s students, The Peach Pit offers a space for tweens and teens to feel at home, safe, and seen. Teenagers NEED to be social, included and have their talents recognized and encouraged. When creating the concept, owner Tara D’Uva, wanted to create something that didn’t exist; a space just for them. Having a 20+ year background in Education, Child Development, Teen Academic Life Coaching, Early Literacy, Administrative Advisory, and Teacher Coaching, Tara knew there was an opportunity to bring this to Monmouth County. She wants students to have a space where all are welcome. At the Peach Pit, all students can find enrichment options that meet the highest standards and best practices in education.
In the afternoons, you can find kids and teens at the cafe, enjoying the lounge, taking classes, doing homework, and studying or meeting with tutors. The cafe is equipped to meet the social opportunities tweens and teens developmentally need. They can be independent and adult free in a safe and fun environment.Teens also have the opportunity to sign up for ‘Career Sparking’ and College Prep courses, such as ‘Behind the Scenes of the Fashion Industry or Sports’ Marketing.
