A Monmouth County resident of over twenty years, Donna Leibowitz is a Monmouth County mom and the proud co-owner of Green Leaf Pet Resort. A mom to one son, Donna was also a pharmacist for several years before she opened her business here. Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from New York City. I now live in Millstone township with my husband, and have been here for 23 years.

I have one son, who is now 36 years old.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
One thing many may be surprised to learn about me is that I have a Doctorate of Pharmacy, and was a practicing Pharmacist for many years.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I would have to thank my son, of course. Without him, I wouldn’t be a mom.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
My favorite thing to do with my son is play, especially having water gun challenges, going to amusements parks, art exhibits. Also, simply spending time with him has always been one of my top priorities.

I am the co-owner of the Green Leaf Pet Resort. Our two locations are both located in Monmouth County.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Without it, my business would not be what it is today. The foundation of the Pet Care industry is built on caring for the pets and people that make up this community. It is the love we have for them, and they for us that allows us to build strong bonds and thrive.

La Cipollina in Freehold, NJ
What is your favorite activity to do with your son in Monmouth County?
Our favorite activity has to be going to the beach and boardwalk.
What are your Mom Goals?
One of my main goals as a mom was to ensure that my son’s creativity thrived.
