One of my favorite things is taking photos of my children. Life goes by so quickly, and it’s always been important to me to have those memories to look back on. While I have over 19,000 images on my phone of our life at the moment, there are so few of myself in the photos with them.
I decided it was time to schedule a professional photo shoot with my youngest as an early Mother’s Day gift to myself. I love the idea of owning heirloom family photographs for our family to cherish for years to come.

Before meeting, Glenna set up a meeting to discuss what we should wear, and the location setting. Upon meeting, Glenna immediately made my seven-year-old feel at ease, making her laugh, relax, and have fun. We worked through various poses as she captured candid moments between us. We weren’t restricted to one or two settings, as we have experienced in past photo sessions. Glenna lead us through the park, taking every opportunity to uncover and capture a magical moment.
After our session, we met to look over each photograph, picking out which were our favorites to print (it was not easy to narrow it down!!).
