A long-time Monmouth County resident, Jennifer lives with her family in Tinton Falls, NJ. The owner of Victoria Beauty Lounge in Red Bank, this beautiful mompreneur is proud to have built a loyal client base since 2005, with customers even flying in to have their hair done, after moving out of NJ! When Jennifer isn’t working to make us look our best, she enjoys spending the day with her daughter in Pier Village, dining at local restaurants, and heading to the beach. Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I am originally from Hai Phong Vietnam and I’ve been living in Tinton Falls for 24 years.
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
I have one daughter, Victoria who is 22 years old.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
In my younger years, I was a ballroom dancer, The Rumba is my favorite.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My babysitter, Sharon Velez, unfortunately she passed away but I am forever grateful for her. Her daughter was my receptionist and took care of Victoria when she was eight weeks old. As a full-time working Mom she was a lifesaver.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
When she was younger we did so many different things around the county, now we like to go to the movies, dinner, and shopping.

I started Victoria Salon in Little Silver in 2005. In 2013 we became Victoria Beauty Lounge and moved to English Plaza in Red Bank. We are a full service salon specializing in all hair, make-up and lash extension services.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I have the best clients. I find this community supportive of local businesses, friendly and so generous. I have such strong relationships with my clientele, some of them have been with me for over 20 years. Some have moved away but they still fly back to Red Bank to have their hair done!
What is your favorite restaurant in Monmouth County?
I love Teak, Bistro, Char. I’m so fortunate to be in downtown Red Bank with access to so many restaurants.
What is your favorite activity to do with your daughter in Monmouth County?
We love to go to the beach and then eat and shop in Pier Village.
What are your Mom Goals?
To raise a strong, healthy, educated and kind kid that gives back to her community.
