A Monmouth County native, this beautiful mama lives in Wall, NJ with her husband and adorable son. A former NICU nurse, Colleen runs Absolute Chiropractic with her husband, Dr. Anthony Pellegrino. I’m from Middletown originally, and I’ve lived in the Wall area for for 6 years now

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I used to be a NICU nurse, but retired from nursing when my husband and I opened our chiropractic office. Now I get to see babies and kids get healthy and get off of medications.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
Other moms! Friends, professionals in the birth world, mommy and me classes, just having other moms in my life for support has been crucial. No one else can really understand what its like being a parent, until you are.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Take our dog, Maggie, on walks.

I founded Absolute Chiropractic with my husband 6 years ago. I used to be in the office full-time and you would usually see me at the front desk, but since having my son, I have transitioned to working from home. We specialize in prenatal, pediatric, and family care and are on a mission to see families get healthy together, naturally. Personally, chiropractic care has been a game-changer for me staying healthy, especially during my pregnancy, and now for raising my son healthy. My family and I don’t need to take medications ever, even OTC, and we just want to let other people know that chiropractic is not just for back pain.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Getting out into the community and meeting people is key. No one is just going to come knocking on your door, so getting to connect with other moms in the area has been great. You can never have too many resources for support, personally and professionally.
What is your favorite restaurant in Monmouth County?
Tough question, Talulas and Vic’s.
What is your favorite activity to do with your son in Monmouth County?
Right now going to music class on the farm and taking Spanish class together.
What are your Mom Goals?
Same as everyone. Raise happy healthy kids, right?
