STEM

The goal of Krubots is to provide a learning solution that brings together technology, curriculum, and hands-on work. Our classes are all about learning by making, doing, and creating things, which enable students to become active owners of the learning process. The project-based activities help build science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) knowledge. The students will explore the following areas in three class levels: Robotics, programming, logical thinking, problem solving, and engineering.

Due to Covid-19, the class have limited capacity and will follow social distancing guidelines. Face Masks are required.

DANCE & PEFORMING ARTS

 The Spring Lake Theatre and Dance Academy is an unparalleled place for children to grow up. The Spring Lake Community House provides a truly unique place for them to flourish in a safe, positive, nurturing environment, enhancing performing arts and life skills under the tutelage of exceptional teachers. Our multifunctional facility is one-of-a-kind, as it houses two studios and it’s very own 356-seat theatre. Our Theatre Workshop Program allows children (grades 2-12) to excel in their strongest theatrical skills of singing, dancing or acting, while also learning and growing in the other facets of theatre. In May, each class will present a musical production with Broadway-quality costumes, lighting and set design! Our Dance Program offers children (ages 1-18) classes in multiple disciplines for all levels, from the recreational dancer, to our award-winning competition students. The Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater, a program of Axelrod Performing Arts Center, is located inside Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ. Founders of the new Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater, President Elise Feldman and Artistic Director/Choreographer Gabriel Chajnik have developed the Axelrod Performing Arts Academy (APAA) which provides a unique and comprehensive training in dance and musical theater combining technique with performance opportunities and a series of seasonal professional dance and theatrical productions for children and adults. AXCBT is the first professional dance in the Monmouth County area, with the mission of cultivating an environment rooted in inspiration, encouragement, and equality.

Trial classes are available for children to learn more about upcoming contemporary ballet and theatrical dance programs. Moms can enjoy the amenities of Bell Works while kids are in class and take a class at Bar Method, grab a coffee at Booskerdoo, or bring your laptop and catch up on some work!

OUR FALL SESSION BEGINS SEPTEMBER 13!

We are excited to start our 16th year! At Inspired Minds Fine Art School students can explore their creativity learning fine art techniques in a safe, fun atmosphere. We have classes in painting, drawing, comics, sculpture, printmaking, & mixed media. With qualified instructors and small class sizes, we teach every student according to their individual needs.

Founded in 2012, “one river” west of New York City, One River School® has developed a unique method for teaching art and digital design classes to people of all ages and all levels. Today, our innovative program teaches thousands of students in fourteen locations across the US.

At One River School, our students simply have more fun learning to create and produce compelling art. It is our belief that we are transforming art education®, as well as providing an experience that changes lives in the communities that we serve. One River has developed a unique project-based curriculum that is rooted in using the lessons learned from the most compelling living artists to create a fun and relevant educational experience for our students. Located in Marlboro, NJ, The Young Chefs Academy class curriculum will immerse young chefs in a world of culinary creativity and discovery.  Planned around a unique monthly theme, each class is a new experience incorporating skills that build over time for the student to master complex food preparation and presentation.  Classes can be attended individually or weekly as a Young Chefs Academy member.
