  Since 1968, Mastro Montessori has committed to nurturing the development of each child with patience, understanding, and love. We are an independent school community that is enthusiastic and passionate about the Montessori method, providing a nurturing environment for children ages 15-months through age twelve. As the first Montessori school in Monmouth County and the only school in the area to be certified by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), we are committed to maintaining a genuine Montessori experience for children to become lifelong learners.

      Luther Memorial Preschool is a family oriented program and thus we try to maintain personal contact with parents on a daily basis. Parents will conference with the teacher twice a year, but are encouraged to approach staff at anytime with questions or concerns. The school is governed by the Preschool Board of Luther Memorial Church. The classes are equipped with qualified and experienced teachers: one serving as Lead Teacher and the others as Assistant Teachers. We keep a small student/teacher ratio to ensure individualized attention and close supervision of all students. 

  Temple Beth Ahm Preschool is designed to provide a happy and nurturing environment enabling children to develop a positive self image and love of learning. The curriculum is diverse and flexible, allowing the children to utilize all of their senses while developing the foundations for reading, language, math, science and social studies. In addition to our fine secular curriculum, Judaism is integrated daily through art, holiday celebrations, books, food and song. The culture and values instilled at a young age become part of the student’s general knowledge that develops and grows as they do. Our students leave our program happy, healthy and ready to take on kindergarten because they have the appropriate social and academic foundations they can now build upon.

We offer classes for children ages 2, 3 and 4 with half, mini and full day options. Classes meet Monday, Wed, Friday with an optional Tuesday programs. We have an extensive Mommy & Me program taught by Miss Kim for babies and toddlers. In addition we offer a 7-week Summer Camp for children ages 2 through 5, just right for little ones.

  Saint James Preschool, established in 1992, builds a strong foundation for academic success in the elementary years and beyond. Developmentally appropriate activities take place in a warm, joyful, nurturing Christian environment. Our program is designed to provide for the development of the TOTAL child- the physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual aspects. The atmosphere will be both interactive and engaging, where young children will grow in awareness of God, self, and others. We want our children to build a positive self-image; explore their natural sense of wonder; discover their creative spirit; learn problem-solving skills; develop self-control and consideration of others; increase coordination, balance, and body image; and know that learning is fun!

 Ranney’s expert and caring Early Childhood (age 3 to Pre-Kindergarten) faculty guide their youngest learners to form foundational skills leveraging Reggio Emilia, a developmental theory that encourages learning through exploration and creation. Our teachers are specialists in Early Childhood Education and our classrooms intentionally support the learning process. The classroom starts in September with a blank canvas and evolves through the year as children take responsibility and demonstrate new knowledge. As a result, each classroom becomes a unique reflection of a particular class of students. Class spaces are in a constant state of growth and change; change that can be impacted by students’ own contributions.

Early Childhood classes are kept small, with low student-teacher ratios so that students can receive nurturing, individualized attention. Students have the opportunity to visit the Searle Library, the Lower School music studio, world language classrooms, and the community garden. Specialized classes such as science, health and art are integrated within the homeroom setting. Early childhood students have the opportunity to build relationships with multiple “specials” teachers as they progress through their Lower School experience. Athletic facilities extend beyond the gymnasium and field spaces to include an indoor heated pool and outdoor play structures designed with a variety of age-appropriate physical challenges.

Ranney’s nurturing learning environment encourages children to build confidence, discover their talents, and love learning in Early Childhood, which extends into Lower School (Kindergarten through fifth grade), Middle School (sixth through eighth grade), and Upper School (9th through 12th grade.)

Learning Tree provides a warm, safe, and nurturing learning environment for your 2 1⁄2 – 6 year old children. We offer small class sizes and are following all health and safety protocols to keep our students learning in the classroom.

Over thirty years ago, the United Methodist Church of Red Bank started the Red Bank Cooperative Nursery School for its members. As the school grew, this quality preschool experience was offered to the community. In February 1995, the name of the school was changed to Learning Tree Preschool. Learning Tree is committed to active parent involvement in preschool education. We give all families the opportunity to become part of our school family, whether or not they can participate in the classroom.

Established in 1998, Freehold Montessori the principles of education developed from the research of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school is an affiliate of the American Montessori Society.  We have teachers   and teacher’s aides whom have been with the preschool for numerous years, including our resident primary teacher whom has been with us for over 20 years!
