Advanced Soap of Lincroft is a family owned and operated small business. We are rebranding under Lincroft Soap Co to continue to strengthen our connection to the community with our new branding set to roll out later this summer. I am a soap artisan crafting cold process soaps with a unique design along with our new products that include castile (liquid soap), body balm, and regular soap bars with our proprietary recipes. In addition to creating great soap products, we are working on a sustainability initiative to decrease waste and packaging turnover by incentivizing customers to coming back to our partner stores to fill up their reusable bottles.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Well as starters, family and friends have shown up at our promotional tables hosted at local businesses such as the Coffee Corral, Dean’s Natural Food Market, The Herbary, and Bungalow Road, The Local Line, and Great Harvest. The small business development center at Brookdale CC has been integral. Monmouth County is made up of so many entrepreneurs and industrious small business owners. If you have a unique idea and are willing to put in the work, there is no better place to live; creativity is embedded in the local DNA. Running a small business can be lonely and frustrating at times, it takes a village to make it work.
