School is out for most, and summer is officially HERE! If you’re in the same boat as me, and waited until the last minute to sign the kids up for summertime activities, there’s hope! We’re away a few weeks throughout the summer, so I wasn’t interested in committing to camps that run all summer long. My daughter loves to draw and be creative, and was looking for something to inspire her creative mind. We were recently introduced to One River School of Art + Design in Middletown, NJ. Having driven past it many times off of Route 35, I was excited to finally learn more about all they have to offer!
One River has developed a unique method of teaching art and digital design classes to people of all ages and all levels. Their students simply have more fun learning to create and produce compelling art. It is their belief that they are transforming art education, as well as providing an experience that changes lives in communities.
Art is best created within a group that shares a common passion for art-making and the interactivity that we stimulate generates a dynamic bond and helps to produce new friendships. One River’s instructors are very experienced — with many at advanced levels of education — as well as being practicing artists. They demonstrate a passion for quality student outcomes and can provide group instruction and individualized coaching to help students reach their goals.
One River School has transformed the summer camp experience by developing the most fun and compelling creative camps in America. Their program allows Teens and Kids to select from a wide range of studio art and digital art & design experiences that cater to students of all ages and all levels. Parents love their program because they can customize their child’s summer program by building a menu of camps around preferred dates and camp types. And, their rigorous safety standards ensure that they deliver the safest experience possible.
Being a mom, convenience is key. Students at One River School of Art + Design can begin at any time and are part of a constantly changing experience that always feels interesting and fresh. Kids become engaged in the methods they’re learning, and socialize with theirs peers in the group.
Camps for various age groups include:

And lots more!
Stay for as long as you like and never repeat a project. Want to try a different class? No problem. You can switch your class, or add a second class at a discounted rate.
