Lately I’ve been working a TON, and spread very thin with all that comes with end of school year events and activities. From graduations to playdates and piano lessons to work events, I’ve been absolutely exhausted! And while things may be busier than ever, I’ve been trying to figure out ways to increase my energy throughout the day, because it doesn’t appear life is slowing down anytime soon!
I’ve always been mixed when it comes to healthy eating. Those that know me are well aware I run on potato chips and chocolate, with an occasional salad thrown in for good measure. And while that may have worked for years without slowing me down much, it’s definitely starting to catch up with me! I’ve been incorporating healthier, cleaner, foods into my diet over the last month, and definitely feel better!
One place I’ve been loving for some time now is Freshii in Middletown, NJ. Being their mantra is “Eat. Energize”, it was a no brainer to start ordering more often. Conveniently located in the Kohl’s shopping center on Route 35 in Middletown, Freshii offers seven different menu categories including bowls, burritos, salads, wraps, soups, smoothies & juices. They also just added TACOS to the menu earlier this year.

In the summer, we live at the beach on the weekends, and will be headed there all summer long with Freshii in the cooler (they even have a kids menu!).
