I grew up in Demarest NJ and have lived in Point Pleasant for the last 12 years.
Children and Ages?
I have one son, Finneous, age 11
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I love spending time by myself reading and cleaning the house.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My son. He is wise beyond his years…an old soul for sure. His humor has kept me laughing, his wit has kept me on my toes, his strength and determination are an inspiration, his thought process has challenged me to think differently and step out of my comfort zone. Every day he teaches me to be a better person.
Favorite things to do with your son?
I love playing any sport with Fin…we often play basketball, baseball, have a football catch, tennis in the street. We love going to the Jenkinson’s arcade together and going on bike rides. We also love our “date” lunches, where it’s just me and him time.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I own and run a small business in Wall and online called Finneous & Bean, all handmade bamboo headbands and apparel for your active lifestyle.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Of course! As a small business, word of mouth is huge for me and I have been fortunate enough that people who love my headbands, love to talk about them. I have also made some wonderful friendships with local business owners who love supporting other small business and now sell my headbands to their customers/members. Truly wonderful.
