Middletown Pediatrics!

Middletown Pediatrics is committed to providing comprehensive medical care for children from birth through college age. They partner with parents to optimize the health, growth and development of their children. Their board certified pediatricians have served the Monmouth County shore area for over 40 years. They are on staff at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. The practice has two offices conveniently located in the towns of Red Bank and Hazlet. Offices are open Monday to Friday, Saturday in Red Bank, with some evening hours at both locations, and physicians are available on-call 24/7. We take pride in providing comprehensive health care, with caring and compassion. Middletown Pediatrics has been a certified medical home since 2013.

 The practice is run by Dr. Edman who has been practicing pediatrics at Middletown Pediatrics since 1981. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and is the Chair of Pediatrics at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. Dr. Edman was awarded the 2012 Physician Recognition Award from Riverview Medical Center.  This award honors outstanding service to the hospital and the community it serves.

 

 

Dr. Edman lives with his wife of more than 30 years, Dr. Jayne Edman, who is Dean of Health Science at Brookdale Community College. They raised their two grown children Charles and Hannah in Little Silver and Shrewsbury.
