Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

Originally from Bronx, NY ( raised in the gorgeous Hudson valley) I’ve lived here for 6 years.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

Emerson is 12 and Sebastian is 10

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

I have my Masters Degree in Special Education and was an Orientation & Mobility Specialist – I taught people ( mostly children) who are Blind and Visually Impaired how to travel.

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

Big thanks to my sister Deana who I bounce everything off of when making really big parenting decisions, who is always up to travel with the 3 of us on any adventure and is tirelessly encouraging me on my solo parenting journey.

Favorite things to do with your kids?

We LOVE traveling, exploring and being in nature. This past September we all went to Acadia National Park in Maine and it was amazing. Its so awesome to watch children exploring the world around them.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

I am a self employed single mama, owner of Sacred SOULutions. I am a Somatic Healer and Coach. My work is geared toward women who have experienced past trauma or wounds that may still be getting in the way of their success. I work with the subconscious ( in the body), nervous system and energy system to create lasting change by getting to the root of the belief, behavior, emotions, attitude and thoughts that are deeply ingrained. Using somatic healing modalities, coaching and energy work these are healed and the results are profound and work quickly. My Book Sacred Sh*t: Embrace Your Messy Humanity and Tap into the Limitless Power of Your Soul is coming out April 2021 and its all about the duality of our lives and what we go through as humans and how we are all divine beings connected to Source energy. We need to heal to manifest and be ultimate creators of our lives and so that’s my assigned work in this lifetime.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

A few years ago I began attending and sponsoring S.O.A.R which stands for Seize Opportunity and Rise Together run by Jennifer Tuma- Young and Jessica Maldonado. SOAR was created to share ideas and bring women together to learn, share and connect. This community is full of successful, inspiring women. Being able to share my mission and my message with these these women created a ripple effect of so many connections, opportunities and beautiful relationships that continue to this day.

What is your favorite restaurant in Monmouth County?

Hands down Bamboo Leaf in Bradley Beach

We LOVE paddle boarding- that might be our most fun thing we do! Anything outdoors we are all in!

What is your favorite activity to do with your child(ren) in Monmouth County?

I also make up silly games and contests to do all the time like last winter we would bundle up and go to the beach. Then we chose a different location to get hot chocolate in the community and we each had to rate the hot chocolate until we each found our favorite! Lots of fun debate on what

and who makes the best hot chocolate! They are already asking if we are doing again this year!

What are your Mom Goals?

My mom goals are pretty simple. Always guide my babes back to themselves- to teach them how top trust themselves above all else and connect to their own intuition. My other is to make sure that they know that no matter what the outside circumstances are we can each create our lives by our own design. These two things cover all my other mom goals!
