Jessica lives with her husband and three adorable children in Little Silver, NJ! She’s also the proud owner of The Blonde Shallot, a salad and prepared foods shop here in Monmouth County. Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I’m originally from the Catskills (upstate NY). Lived in NYC for 12 years after college, then moved to Little Silver and have lived here for 14 years now!

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I’m a pretty open book so I can’t think of any major surprises but one fun fact is I never went to kindergarten – back then things were much more relaxed than today.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
Lynne! my BFF and ex-neighbor. Without her, I would probably still be in my bushes hiding from the kids! And George Clooney … without Casamigos, raising 3 young children would have been even more difficult!
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Snuggle and watch movies with popcorn. Go for hikes + picnics when we go away to the mountains every summer. Go cheer them on at their Sports games. Have a beach day and ride the waves.

Yes I created The Blonde Shallot, a local meal-delivery service in 2015, when my youngest was still in pre-school. I am proud to saw I an now the owner of The Blonde Shallot, a successful salad/prepared-foods gourmet shop in my town of Little Silver.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Our community has a wealth of successful mompreneurs who were so instrumental in giving me advice + help along the way- without them I would never be where I am now!

What is your favorite activity to do with your child(ren) in Monmouth County?
Going down to Point Pleasant and the rides at the Boardwalk!
What are your Mom Goals?
To earn my kids trust but also their utmost respect.. also, to raise compassionate and caring humans- that to me is way important than any school grades.
