Therese Bonanni is a local mom and Registered Dietician for Navesink Wellness. She has perfected the ability of bringing healthy yet delicious recipes to families all over Monmouth County. She’s knows all too well the constant juggling act us moms have to endure, so her tips and recipes are always super time and budget friendly. She also throws in some healthy tricks for the kiddies! This Cupid Crunch is a great way to have the kids participate in an after-school activity while enjoying a healthy snack for Valentine’s Day!
Ingredients:
- Kashi Heart to Heart Cereal
- Enjoy Life Foods Allergen-Free Chocolate Chips
- Freeze Dried Strawberries
- Trader Joe’s Heirloom Popcorn (kernels are smaller for smaller mouths)
Other Items:
Place the ingredients in some cupcake liners and let the kids pick and choose their combos and put in either additional cupcake liners or cello bags. Placed finished products in a cute Valentine’s Day serving tray, snap a pic with your little Valentine’s and then let them have at it. The kids will have a blast putting these together and you will feel better allowing them to eat these sweet treats!
